Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Head Retail. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to manage the flagship stores of multiple iconic brands under Ace Turtle portfolio Lee, Wrangler, Toys R Us etc.

As the Head Retail, your primary responsibility will be to drive the topline and profitability of these stores, ensuring operational excellence and delivering a personalized experience to our consumers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the flagship stores for Lee, Wrangler, and Toys R Us etc, taking full ownership of their performance and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increase footfall, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Spearhead the retail teams, providing strong leadership and direction to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
  • Lead the hiring process, ensuring the recruitment of talented individuals who embody our brand values and have a passion for delivering exceptional retail experiences.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the retail teams, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the product and design team to ensure that the store offerings align with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness.
  • Partner with the tech team to leverage technology solutions that enhance the consumer experience, such as personalized recommendations and convenient payment options.
  • Drive visual merchandising initiatives to create visually appealing store layouts that engage and captivate customers.
  • Manage digital orders fulfilled from the stores, ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with the tech teams to streamline digital order fulfillment processes, optimize inventory management, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work with marketplaces and thirdparty platforms to expand the brand’s online presence, drive sales, and augment business growth.
  • Stay updated with emerging ecommerce trends and digital innovations, leveraging them to enhance the online shopping experience and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed business decisions.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, and mall management, to maximize store performance and negotiate favorable terms.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of successfully managing flagship stores or largescale retail operations for premium/bridge to luxury/luxury brands.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on driving sales, achieving targets, and optimizing profitability.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify opportunities and make datadriven decisions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and the ability to create visually appealing store layouts.
  • Familiarity with retail technology and trends, including ecommerce, marketplaces and datadriven personalization.
  • Flexibility to travel between flagship stores and attend meetings with stakeholders as needed.
  • Highly analytical and proficient in problem solving and worked closely on data and with the technology teams.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of both physical retail and ecommerce operations, as well as the ability to bridge the gap between offline and online retail channels.
  • The Head Retail will play a crucial role in integrating digital strategies with the physical store operations to create a seamless and omnichannel customer experience.
